Amber Nicole

Amber Nicole Dilger is a nationally recognized voice teacher, having received the 2020 Joan Frey Boytim Award for Independent Teachers from the National Association of Teachers of Singing. Degrees in both music education and vocal performance give her a broad set of tools to help students of all ages develop their unique sound. She also specializes in coaching to help performers of all kinds overcome stage fright/performance anxiety. Her voice students have advanced to programs at Boston Conservatory, Eastman, Park Point University, Interlochen Arts Academy, National YoungArts Foundation, among others, and perform professionally in National Equity Tours.

Originally trained in classical/opera voice, her professional performing career has been going over 26 years strong and has focused on musical theatre stages throughout the country. Theatre performance highlights include Guenevere in Chicago’s Light Opera Works production of Camelot, Gertrude in Milwaukee’s First Stage production of Seussical, and Lily in Music Theatre of Madison’s production of The Secret Garden. In the short time she’s been in North Carolina she has sung with the Greensboro Opera and North Carolina Opera, as well as having the privilege to play Jo in June Guralnick’s new play, Little (Women). Amber Nicole is a member of Actor’s Equity.
