Anna Marie Kool – Creative Dance, Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Modern Teacher
Ms. Kool started her formal dance training at the Infinity Ballet Conservatory & Theatre in Apex, NC, where she studied for many years with a strong focus on her classical ballet technique. In addition to her dance studies, Ms. Kool began an in-depth study of the pedagogy and syllabus of the Vaganova ballet technique.
Under the direction of Professor-Emeritus Peggy Willis-Aarnio, she participated in several international teachers congresses, and was certified in the instruction of classical ballet for beginner and intermediate level dancers.
Ms. Kool joined the International Ballet Academy & Theatre in 2015, where she graduated out of the Professional Division program. Ms. Kool danced professionally as a soloist with the International Ballet Theatre, performing in many productions with the company, to include Giselle, Don Quixote, Dracula, The Nutcracker, The Jungle Book, and several Best of IBT Galas in which she performed lead variations in excerpts from Sleeping Beauty, Paquita, Raymonda and more.
Ms. Kool also participated in the 2017 Dance Open Festival held in Russia, performing with the International Ballet Theatre at The State Hermitage Museum Theatre. In addition to her career as a performer, Ms. Kool served as a member of the IBA/IBT faculty as the Director of the Children’s Program, and an instructor of dancers ages 2 – adult. She also was co-choreographer for the IBTs production of the Wizard of Oz in 2019 & 2020.
Ms. Kool is so happy to share her knowledge and passion for the precision and artistry of dance with her students at the Infinity Ballet Conservatory where her own dance journey first began. Ms. Kool enjoys teaching ballet, tap, jazz and modern dance.

Anna Marie has been a pivotal instructor for our daughter, Maya. Anna Marie embodies the unique combination of technique, compassion, humor and hard work and imprinted these characteristics on our daughter for life. Anna Marie, (Ms. Kool) is a beloved teacher known for her patience, thoroughness, and joy by all of her students. Ms. Kool also is a superb choreographer who has presented many end of year recital pieces, as well as full length children’s ballet productions. Ms. Kool is also well versed in the Vaganova ballet technique, along with Jazz, Tap, and Modern dance.
